Love and Learn Child Care is an in-home family childcare serving York and Cumberland counties from our home on the farm in Buxton. We have an expansive vision for serving more families, and we are looking to add to our team as we prepare for growth. This position would start as part-time, with potential for additional hours, and eventually full-time if desired.

Collaborate with the team to craft engaging, age-appropriate activities that cater to various developmental stages.
Foster a positive atmosphere where children feel safe to explore and learn.
Effectively communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being and work alongside them to ensure holistic child development.
Maintain a clean and organized play area and outdoor play space, ensuring a conducive environment for both play and education.
Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education to continuously enhance the quality of care and education provided.

Passion for early childhood education.
Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
Compliance with Maine licensing requirements, including registration with Maine Roads to Quality, and completing annual training hours.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
State licensing required fingerprinting, and background check.
State licensing requires candidate to be 18+ years of age, and have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a child care setting is a plus
