My child care journey started long ago, when my mother ran a family child care out of our home. Growing up in a family child care, I developed a passion for children and I love watching them grow. This love for child development and education naturally led me in to a early childhood education program at the University of Maine. Once I had a family of my own, I decided to open our first family child care in our home in central Maine. This allowed me to homeschool my own children from preschool through second grade, while sharing my love for children and my desire to serve my community with other families in the area.
Since relocating to southern Maine, I've worked and volunteered as a childcare provider for different centers, camps, churches and programs, deepening my love for caring for children, while watching my own grow through the teen years and into early adulthood. My dedication and excitement for working with children, combined with my experience, has allowed me to once again open our home to serve our community by providing a place for children to be loved while they learn and grow.
